Aletta Harrison is an award-winning video journalist, filmmaker and founder of Ripple Swift. She has lived and worked in South Africa and the UK and is now based in Johannesburg.

With a 17+ year background in news she has a strong track record in media production as a self-shooting producer/director and has five years of experience in higher education as a journalism lecturer in the UK.

She is a qualified drone pilot and has filmed in a variety of different environments from the African bush, to the deck of the SA Aghulhas II in the Indian Ocean and English woodlands. She has worked in multiple countries including South Africa, Malawi, Uganda, Mauritius.

Telling stories about the natural world and conservation remains her primary interest and she was won multiple awards for her environmental storytelling.
